If you have a link anywhere on your website that says nothing more than “click here,” this post is written especially for you.

The answer is ZERO value. The words “click here” mean nothing to the reader and are basically useless. The only thing the “click here” link tells the reader is that they can click the link to go to another web page.

For example, your link may currently say:

Now you are going to change it to say:

Click to buy sweet, seedless, organic mandarins

So, here’s your action step to improve your business website: Review your website content and change or update any links that do not provide value or hint to your visitor what information they may find when they click the link.
