Who we are: The Conscious Co., Jo Schaalman and Julie Peláez, AKA “Jo and Jules,” co-founders of The Conscious Cleanse, a step by step 14-day detox program to help people lose weight, heal their body and transform their life. We started the Conscious Cleanse in 2009 as a workshop at a yoga studio in Boulder, CO. The results that participants had after that first cleanse were nothing short of extraordinary so we decided to launch an “at-home” cleanse so participants could experience the benefits of cleansing from anywhere. Again, the results and the interest were extraordinary (including a signed book deal to turn the Conscious Cleanse into a book, published by Penguin in Fall 2012) so we knew it was time to get “official” with a website.
