Brooke Nitzsche had a website, but it was plain and boring, and it didn’t reflect her vision for her brand. With a clear picture of what she wanted in her head, Brooke turned to Bourn Creative to bring the new Brooke Elizabeth Organics brand design to life and provide a flexible, easy to update WordPress site that could grow with her brand as the product line grew.
We worked closely with Brooke to create the new visual design of her logo and brand elements, ensuring they represented the vision she had for her brand. We then designed the company stationery package, which included business cards, letterhead, envelopes, note cards, and a custom PowerPoint presentation template.
With the brand design complete, Bourn Creative, along with Brooke’s direction, began the design and development of the new responsive WordPress website and blog that is easy to use on devices and screens of all sizes.
The website is a custom WordPress theme powered by the Genesis Framework with retina support, ensuring the theme imagery displays crisp and clear on devices of all resolutions.
The Home page (shown below) features a large hero image, a custom email marketing opt-in, and direct access to the three core areas of the website.
The blog leverages a grid style layout with large featured images, and custom options were integrated to allow the client to choose whether to display the sidebar opt-in, footer opt-in, or no opt-in at all on a per page and per post basis.
Bourn Creative also designed the downloadable “Skin Type” quiz, customized the WordPress admin to make the site as easy as possible for her team to maintain and update, and provided hands-on training.
